Another Ice Age?
“American Far West, while New England and northern Europe have recently experienced the mildest winters within anyone’s recollection.

when meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find that the atmosphere has been growing gradually cooler for the past three decades. The trend shows no indication of reversing.

“Man, too, may be somewhat responsible for the cooling trend. The University of Wisconsin’s Reid A. Bryson and other climatologists suggest that dust and other particles released into the atmosphere as a result of farming and fuel burning may be blocking more and more sunlight from reaching and heating the surface of the earth.

“Whatever the cause of the cooling trend, its effects could be extremely serious, if not catastrophic. Scientists figure that only a 1% decrease in the amount of sunlight hitting the earth’s surface could tip the climatic balance, and cool the planet enough to send it sliding down the road to another ice age within only a few hundred years.

“University of Toronto Climatologist Kenneth Hare, a former president of the Royal Meteorological Society, believes that the continuing drought and the recent failure of the Russian harvest gave the world a grim premonition of what might happen. Warns Hare: ‘I don’t believe that the world’s present population is sustainable if there are more than three years like 1972 in a row.’ “

Strange how the 70’s experienced a cooling period after industrial age decades of “fossil fuel” burning, isn’t it? Only strange if you believe more man-made CO2 will burn up the planet, or cool it depending on the political climate of the day. The agenda does not change with the weather.

What is the decades old political ideology of the climate agenda?

In 1976 members of a respected think tank (leading scientists, philosophers, political advisors, former politicians and many other influential bureaucrats and technocrats) co-authored a report titled Reshaping the International Order (ISBN 0-525-04340-3) which stated, “although not yet proven, climatologists are being forced to conclude that our planet has in recent times passed through a period which may well have been optimal as far as food production is concerned.” In another report by the same group from 1991, The First Global Revolution (ISBN 0-671-71107-5), they wrote, “in searching for a new enemy to unite us [all of humanity], we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself.”

Excerpt from attorney Dan Sitarz’s book about the United Nations’ Agenda 21, the blueprint for the 21st century (Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy), written with the cooperation of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development. Listed as one of the top books for the 21st century by the International Center for Environment and Public Policy of the California Institute of Public Affairs: “Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level.”

On January 8th 2009 French President Nicolas Sarkozy lead a conference with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and German Chancellor Angela Merkel which AP / Yahoo News covered. They described a capitalism-communist order, the long awaited update of the current elitist system. The German Chancellor said the system “cannot continue as it is”. The French President said, “in capitalism of the 21st century, there is room for the state,” and “we cannot accept the status quo.”

January 27 2009, the Daily Mail reported on Gordon Brown’s speech when he described the global recession as ‘the difficult birth pangs of a new global order’ and also said, ‘our task now is nothing less than making the transition to a new internationalism with the benefits of an expanding global economy, not muddling through as pessimists, but making the necessary adjustment to a better future and setting new rules for this new global order’.

The following extract is from the Telegraph’s article reporting on The Green Economy Initiative from the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) report last October 2008: “It would refocus the global economy, trigger a 21st century employment boom and at the same time combat climate change, it is claimed. ‘We need to accelerate towards a green economy. We are talking about nothing less than the transformation of our economies in effect a global green New Deal,’ [said Achim Steiner, UNEP executive director.] Pavan Sukdhev, a banker seconded to UNEP, who is leading an attempt to draw up an ‘inventory’ of the Earth’s resources and what they are worth, said current economic models were now at the limit of what they could deliver.”

Daily Mail, 8th of October 2008: “Prime Minister Gordon Brown hailed ‘major progress’ after the leaders of the G8 today vowed to halve world emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050. More than 80 Labour MPs are calling for the Government to cut CO2 emissions by 2050 by as much as 80 per cent instead of the agreed 60 per cent. Mr Brown said: ‘There has been major progress on the climate change agenda, beyond what people thought possible a few months ago.’ ”

Real global governance is performed by unelected think tanks and other Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working closely with unelected United Nations institutions that have 5 year, 10 year, 25 year, 50 year… plans which believers or deceivers like Sarkozy and Blair follow.

4 minutes and 19 second in to this video at the European Parliament, Strasbourg (21 October 2008), you can see and hear Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, saying crisis’ are “special moments” that can be used as a tool to lead the world into a particular direction. Barroso stated: “We are indeed living historic moments. The kind of occasion where the crisis calls in to question all certainties and minds are more open to change. These are very special moments and they are not happening everyday. We have to understand that it’s really one of those moments where there is some higher plasticity and then where we can make a real change.”

And we believed global affairs just bounced unplanned from “unexpected” crisis to “unexpected” crisis.
